About Us

Campbelltown Comets was originally founded in 1970. Shelley Scales first joined Campbelltown Comets as a 9 year old netball player. Then, in 1998 with only one netball team, it was imminent that the netball division of the club would fold. Shelley, only 18 at the time, decided that she would not allow this to happen. Shelley began her mission by dropping flyers in letterboxes of the local neighbourhood, which was well received by the community and the Comets netball community began to grow. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Campbelltown Comets now has over 25 teams with players aged from 7-57. We have an ongoing love for netball, with coaches passionate about helping their players improve and a committee is dedicated to continually growing and developing our club. 

 

At Campbelltown Comets Netball Club, we pride ourselves on finding a team for players of all skill levels, encouraging each other to improve and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship.
