GRADING
Netball is played in both winter and summer, and therefore we have 2 gradings per year. Each grading consists of two consecutive Sundays and players are required to attend BOTH days. These are held at the TURRAMURRA RECREATION CENTRE in February for winter, and August for summer.
Prior to the grading days, a list of time slots and age groups will be emailed out. If you have any issues attending BOTH days, you will need to contact the club and speak with a member of the grading committee.
If you choose to not play the season following grading, you will be refunded your registration fee, minus $50 grading fee.
All players are graded based on their age and abilities. We accept players of all skill levels, and those who are new to the game. Grading allows us to place players into the most appropriate team with the coach that will be best suited for them.
Golden Grove teams are representative teams, are graded separately, and are invitation only.

About Us
From humble beginnings to a community club
Campbelltown Comets was originally founded in 1970. Shelley Scales first joined Campbelltown Comets as a 9 year old netball player. Then, in 1998 with only one netball team, it was imminent that the netball division of the club would fold. Shelley, only 18 at the time, decided that she would not allow this to happen. Shelley began her mission by dropping flyers in letterboxes of the local neighbourhood, which was well received by the community and the Comets netball community began to grow. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Campbelltown Comets now has over 25 teams with players aged from 6-60. We have an ongoing love for netball, with coaches passionate about helping their players improve and a committee is dedicated to continually growing and developing our club.
At Campbelltown Comets Netball Club, we pride ourselves on finding a team for players of all skill levels, encouraging each other to improve and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship.
